My name is David The Smiley, I am a Queer cosplayer located in Houston, TX trying to bring a smile to the world through cosplay. My experiences are in Character Impersonation, Cosplay, Film Actor, Q&A Host, Panelist, Voice Actor, Drag Entertainer and Model.

I'm always looking to for ways to grow in different fields, never shy in front of a camera and looking for the next project to be a part of.

Black Anime Verse Presentation

This video is a small part of my presentation at Anime Matsuri 2024. In this video I talk about Black Representation in Anime and Manga and how it has impacted us today. This portion of the video I talk about "Black Actors" and how we do not see as much representation in Live-Action adaptations as well as the unacceptance of black actors playing roles of manga characters.
